Provenance: Purchased from Steven Stills, Pennsylvania; Private Collection.
This desirable porringer top form from the Queen Anne period was mostly made in New England. This example has a generous over-hanging top above a straight skirt rail with shaped returns and is supported by delicate tapered, turned legs ending on pad feet.
